Barcelona international jazz festival organized by Voll-Damm for more than 40 years the city has hosted this annual festival. The festival takes place in different venues across the city and you can buy individual tickets for each event or bonos that include different ones, but there is no full entrance that covers the whole event.

It is very interesting that venues are so different, you can be listening to jazz in Palau de la música or be sitting in a small smoky bar such as Harlem Jazz Club or Jamboree, so there are options for all tastes.

The agenda for the festivals includes paid concerts mainly but there are also some free events that take place in public places and do not require to buy a ticket, so keep an eye for those if you wish to experience the festival in a budget.

The company who organizes the Voll-Damm Jazz International festival is called the project and in their webpage you can find out everything about the International Jazz Festival in Barcelona.

Barcelona's jazz festival is well-established and some of the most known jazz stars come to town for gigs in different venues, names such as Diana Krall, Chucho Valdés, Neneh Cherry and Maria Schneider among others.
