Any gourmet lover has to know the web called bcn gourmet, they have a wide variety of shops by kind of products they sell, by style, neighborhood or price. We have done a selection of shops we like for you:

Idyllica: is a shop specialized in wine, one of the stars of our country, Catalan wines are known all around. They also offer some delicatessen products that can go with your wine selection. The shop is in Gràcia area, in Rambla de Prat, 11.

La Masia de la Boqueria: it is a stall in the same Boqueria market, they sell delicatessen products such as cured meats, cheeses, and canned foods among others. It is a must visit even if you are not thinking about buying, looking at the products is an authentic pleasure. La Rambla, 89 bis 

Mas xarcuters: they are specialist butcher's but they don't sell meat, they sell derived animal products such as cured meats and cheeses. There is normally a Mas shop in every neighborhood market. Avinguda Diagonal, 557 

Formatgeria Félix Ribas: It is a cheese shop, they have more than 80  different varieties of cheese and they also sell Iberian ham from Salamanca, Teruel and acorn-fed Iberian ham among others. La Rambla, 89 bis (Barcelona)

Caelum: If you have a sweet mouth, this is your place. It is located in the jewish area in Barcelona in Carrer de la Palla, 8. Caelum is a cafeteria-shop that sells and served artisan pastries that have been elaborated by monks and nuns in monasteries all over the country. They sell chocolate truffles, muffins, fried milk, Santiago cake, panellets and turrones typical sweets. They also sell honey, jam and wine and liquors.

Graneria sala: It is a shop with more than 120 years of history and three generation of sellers. They sell in bulk legumes of different kinds: chick peas, lentils, cuscus, and dried fruits among others. Travessera de Gràcia, 137.

Colmado Quílez: This delicatessen shop is located in the city center in Rambla Catalunya since 1908,  Rambla de Catalunya, 63. They are famous for their quality and their variety of products such as more than 100 varieties of wine, 300 types of beer and luxury products such as foie, Iranian caviar and anchovies among others. It is a must visit not only for the products but also because it is an impressive shop of more than a 100 years old.

Bocí: It is a cake shop, and the design and taste of their cakes it's just amazing. They have different products, from pastries, truffles, cakes, ice cream and even meals to take away. Via Augusta, 112

Mistral Bakery: Mistral is one of the oldest shops in Barcelona, and everybody knows them because of their artisan production of bread and pastries. They are famous for their ensaimadas -pastry typical from Balearic Islands- and also for their mini croissants, they are delicious so it is a good stop for a mid-afternoon snack to try them out. Ronda de Sant Antoni, 96
