I still dream about our stay in Chiang Mai, you know we were in a low budget but with comfort, our room in Finlays Cottage B&B was a double room with air conditioning simple but confortable. And I can tell you one of the best matresses we tried in the different accommodations we stayed in. We had a shared bathroom, with three different showers, evey clean and confortable, it did not bother us at all not having an ensuite bathroom.

We were in love of the owners, Keith an English man and a thai lady, she was lovely, very nice and eager to help in everything we ask her. She made us the favor to call to book a thai massage, we booked through her a taxi only for us to go to the Doi Suthep, we also booked a full day excursion to the Golden Triangle through her. If you book in the B&B you have a 10%/15% discount in excursions and activities.

There were loads of activities to do: a day with elephants, hill tribes, golden triangle, chiang rai and much more.

We felt like home, every morning when we woke up the thai lady would prepare us breakfast, fresh fruit mango, banana and papaya and also an English breakfast.

The English breakfast consisted of one egg, two toasts with butter and english bacon. Absolutely delicious, taking into account that there is no bread in Thailand, having bread every day for breakfast was a little pleasure for us.

We appreaciated the staff kindness, comfort and facilities, Finnlays Cottage is a paradise near the centre of Chiang Mai, there is a terrace surrounded by trees and plants where we would have breakfast every day or have a beer at night.

The fact that we could book our excursions and they would pick us up in the accommodation was a plus, we will definitely we back to Finlays Cottage, the best accommodation we tried.
