l love markets, it is this local place where you can find anything, things that you might be familiar with but also others that will surprise you. This time is time for flea markets.I have already taken you to Barcelona markets of different kinds: La Boqueria food market in Barcelona, London markets, Christmas markets in Barcelona...

I already showed you my visit to Encants vells flea market, but there are some more in Barcelona. Vintage and second hand clothing and objects are very trendy these days and pop up markets are growing and growing in Barcelona.

See my selection of flea markets in Barcelona:

Barcelona flea markets opened in a permanent location

Encants Vells: You can't find anything, clothes, lamps, furniture, new and old and prices are lower than in normal shops. There are lots of antiques too and vintage shops are around. It is great to find bargains. It runs from Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, you can check out the schedule in their website.

Mercat de Sant Antoni: it runs every Sunday and they have mainly 2nd hand books, dvd's, films, comics and it is the main place to exchange trading cards of all collections. You will see mums and dads with their children trading cards with other families.

Itinerant markets and second hand fairs in Barcelona

Two market: join the second hand movement! with this motto, two market is far the most active itinerant market, they organize twice a month a market in one of their locations.

Flea market Barcelona: this is one of the oldest markets, started back in 2007. They are about to have a permanent location outdoors in Plaza Blanquerna.

Lost and found: the market is located at Estació de França -train station-, a lovely venue. It is a second hand market, very easy to have your own stand if desired. You pay 40 euros for 2mx2m space and you can be there selling your stuff in the market. There are second hand objects but also artisans and handmade products.

De mano en mano: it takes place once a month in different locations in Barcelona. You can find from new creations of a new generation of artist and designers, painters, vintage, artisans etc...The cool thing about this market is that there are also activities and you can learn how to do crochet or jewellery making for example and take your creations home. In every market there are 6 intensive monographic courses.

2nd hand and Vintage shops in Barcelona

Around Riera Baixa street in the Raval area, there are lots of vintage shops to look around if you like vintage style. In Barcelona there are also two second hand chains of clothing: Humana vintage and Holala!. Two of my picks for vintage clothes are: Lalo Vintage and Le Swing vintage.

I am sure you know more vintage shops and second hand places, share it with all of us in comments!!
