Ladies and gentleman, this is the first time I flew with Jet2. I have to say, that I didn't even know that this company existed, no offense intended. In Barcelona there are not a lot of routes for Jet2 so it is not very known unless you are a Glasvegian as it goes straight to Glasgow from Barcelona airport.

So there I was, my friend Helen took the flights online and when trying to pick the seats, oh yeah, incredible, you can pick the seat location, this is something I liked. But the thing is that when trying to pick the seats we could'nt as the seats remaining were pay seats. When I say pay seats I mean, those seats that you pay an extra fee to seat on, for example extra long leg seats and emergy exit seats.

We had a warning on the online check in saying that we should pick the seats available in the airport, and so we did. Unfortunately they could not give us adjacent seats. I sat on a extra long leg seat, a great one, I have never seen a larger place for legs anywhere (low cost), so if you have long legs it is a great investment, although I got it for free. If you don't mind where to be placed or you travel alone, do not pick the sit until the same day and you might be as lucky as I was.

Not a great photo, but you can have an idea of the amount of space I had, almost three persons standing with space between them if you look at the corridor. So, not bad at all, very comfy!

These extra long leg seats are placed at the beginning of the corridor right after the toilets, so there is no other raw of seats in front of you. The only thing is that the rules are the same as the emergency exits, so no bags on the floor as they could move and obstruct the exit in case of emergency.

The cabin crew was very nice and I was seated next to a lovely couple from Glasgow so I had a very pleasant flight. I have to say that for me it was a great flight also because I did not get sick. I have hipoxia in planes, it is not severe, but I do get sick and have nauseas and all, but it depends on how the pilot drives. It might sound a bit silly but its true, it depends, and this time I felt great when taking off and landing on both flights.

About the hand luggage, check out my post on how to prepare your low cost luggage, I wrote it on my hand luggage for Glasgow and I didnt have to pay any extras. You know that all low cost companies make you pay for luggage and quite expensive fees, so if you can save and avoid paying those fees better for you!!

In Jet2 there are no fees to pay with debit card, it is something I appreciated as other companies do charge you a fee to pay it doesn't matter if it is credit or debit, isnt that funny?
