The Barcelona-Catalonia formula one circuit started on 1989, thanks to an agreement with the Generalitat de Catalunya, the automobile club of Catalonia and Montmeló town hall, the city where the circuit is located.
From 1991 the circuit is fully functional and it is one of the most modern sport spaces where every season hosts events such as Gran Premio de españa F1 and Gran Premi de Catalunya MotoGP.
The circuit not only hosts professional events and tournaments for motos and cars but also offers the possibility to host any kind of private events to companies or personal events thanks to the services offered that includes a restaurant, VIP spaces and even an heliport.
The circuit Barcelona-Catalunya has the objective to position itself as an international referent of innovation and to become the economic motor of the area. The Circuit maintains a compromise with the environment and the establishment has an environment-friendly certification.

By train from Barcelona taking the L2 Rodalies direction to Castelldefels or by train from Girona taking the L11 Barcelona Sants direction to Portbou
