Gilda is right in front in the opposite sidewalk, it is a little bar but you can see from the outside that is promising, with nice decoration and a healthy menu of tapas and cured meats and cheeses available. Marta, the owner has studied enology and you can see that in the wines offered, you can take a glass or a bottle, and there are plenty of Catalan wines.
They have a daily menu that offers a salad or a soup and a main that is normally a "plat de cullera" as we call it, literally means that you need a spoon to eat it and it is that is a true main dish normally the stew kind that has all ingredients you need (protein, carbs and veggies)
We went for dinner to eat something and they have the dishes of the day in a blackboard, we had their special bravas, beetroot carpaccio with mint, cheese and onion -totally recommended it was delicious-, an octopus salad with avocado and tomato, a cured meats dish with tomato bread and zucchini ravioli filled with cheese.I couldn't recommend you enough every single dish, there was none that you would say I wouldn't order it again. The dessert didn't disappoint us either, we shared a "coca de vidre" filled in with black chocolate, coca de vidre is a sweet fine bread with sugar on top, is a sweet bread that is crispy so when you eat it, it cracks in your mouth and with the black chocolate it was a dream. We didn't even get a picture of it as we were very busy enjoying it!
