I am food lover, one of the things I like the most when travelling is to discover new cuisines, dishes and tastes. When being in Thailand I loved the curry, tropical fruits, rice dishes and desserts. One of my favorite Thai desserts is mango with sticky rice so today our mission was to do this amazing dessert at home.

Recipe for Mango with sticky rice


  • Peeled Mango (remove the seed and slice into pieces)
  • 1 cup of steamed sticky rice
  • 1/2 cup of coconut milk
  • 1-2 tbsp. of palm sugar (if you don't have, white or brown sugar can be user as well)
  • Pandanus leaves (you can use vanilla sugar/vainilla seeds)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: 1 tbsp. of roasted mung beans

Put coconut milk, palm sugar, pandanus leaves and the pinch of salt into a pot. Heat until boiling. Turn the heat off. Add the steamed rice. Mix it well and let it cool.

Serve it with the mango and top the sticky rice with mung beans.
