I have to start saying that I am not a big fan of burgers, and neither this fast food places where you get a greasy burger with loads of things on the top. I liked though gourmet burgers, I have my own guide of Barcelona gourmet burgers those that you can truly taste the beef.

We went to have dinner to Maka Maka Beach Burger, we were around 10 people and had dinner in the terrace, chilly and nice weather in Barcelona until October so you have plenty of time to enjoy terraces.

I had a Jamaican Holiday burger, as I am not a big fan of burgers I took a chicken breast marinated with species with mango and yoghurt sauce. And I have to say it was amazing, the mix of flavours of the mango and the species.

My partner had a hamburger called Topless with cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion on the top, so I had a bite, and it was great too. What I was surprised about is their french fries with wasabi, ketchup and mayonnaise sauce.I thought as many of you might have already, no way, I can't eat that sauce with wasabi in it, but it was actually not spicy at all, it had this point of difference with the kethup and mayonnaise all together with some wasabi in it. The french fries were hand made and very tasty, we will repeat for sure.

The Maka Maka beach Burger cafe -is his full name-, is a surfer kind of bar, they have parties all year around and there is a very young and cool atmosphere. They have specials every month, if you are a local you won't get bored and if you are visiting Barcelona, it is a good place to stop by when visiting La Barcelona area.

The only thing I would say is that if you are very hungry this is not your place, as the dishes are just the hamburger you order, there are no side dishes or garnishment with it and each of them is from 6 euros to 9 euros more or less.

What I am sure about is that it is a place you cannot miss, I totally enjoyed my Jamaican Holiday. Happy burger time to all!! Let me know if you go there to try these burgers, I would love to hear your opinion about it!
