La Minerva was one of these restaurants some friends talked about and we never had the chance to go to. I saw it in the golden days in Restalo.es, where there was a 50% of discount for Minerva, so there I was booking a table for two.
The restaurant is in a tiny street very narrow, when you enter the restaurant it has a cosy atmosphere, low light, very romantic. The staff was incredibly nice with us, they were very thoughtful at all times.
We started the dinner with a mouth warm up as they called it, it was a tiny starter of cheese rolled with ham that helped give the meal started, nice touch.
We ordered home made raviolis stuffed with apple and cheese with mushrooms and as a main dish we had fillet steak with home made onion rings and french fries and monkfish with cheese sauce and wild rice.
We couldn't miss dessert, we had cheese cake and tiramisú.
We loved it! We polished everything off with a white wine, when they brought the wine we were a bit worried as they place it in a separate table along with the water we ordered. We thought that it would be difficult that they would be managing during all dinner when we needed a refill. The truth is that they were paying attention all the time at our glasses and we were very glad with the service.
My recommendation is the raviolis, do not miss them they were fab and also desserts!
The dinner cost 55 euros in total with the 50% discount (30 euros discount) and the wine cost 18 euros. The discount it was incredible, so we would love to go back at this price.
