You know I am huge fan of spas so being in Thailand we had to try some of them. A friend recommended Fah Lanna Spa in Chiang Mai, he said it is a paradise, and it truly is.

They came to pick us up by car in our B&B, ready to relax we arrived at the spa and we had a tea before our massage, they directed us to a wooden cabin. We sat down in two wooden chairs and the two ladies cleaned our feet before going up to the first floor of the cabin where we were given comfy clothes to change ourselves and be ready for our thai massage.

To be honest with you I was a bit scared about the thai massage, some people told me it was very painful so I was aware that all the stretching could be a bit annoying but anyway we were in Thailand so we had to try.

There we were and the therapist started stretching, we had one hour and a half of thai massage, I liked it it felt good after all your body is relaxed, although I have to admit that there were times that it hurt.

This is my recommendation for you, it was amazing and we were on our own in a wooden cabin only the two of us and our therapists, the building is full of calm all wooden and surrounded by water and plants.

The staff is very helpful and charming, we enjoyed our time there and we definitely will be back the next time we are in Chiang Mai.

Fah Lanna Spa

600 baths per person for 1:30 hours of thai massage, not bad, this is around 13 euros.

The address is 57/1 Wiang Kaew Road, inside the moat in Chiang Mai Old town.

The phone numbers are 053 416 191 or 088 804-9984
